We aim to achieve this through a strategic, three-phase rollout designed to ensure stability, security, and scalability (Read more). Lombard's launch phases include a Private Beta for initial testing, a Public Beta with controlled access, and a final Public Launch with unrestricted availability.

We have implemented a waitlist to manage demand for LBTC and to provide us with a mechanism to reward early participants with exclusive access and benefits overtime.

Benefits of Joining the LBTC Waitlist:

Guaranteed Access: By joining the waitlist, participants are guaranteeing access to stake BTC early and potentially maximize staking opportunities over time. This can be particularly advantageous as Lombard will have deposit caps in place, and there may be instances where only those on the waitlist are permitted to deposit.

Exclusive Offers: We are anticipating high-demand for LBTC as a liquid, yield bearing representation of BTC. Those on the waitlist will be invited to deposit before others, providing exclusive access to LBTC. Waitlist members will also be invited to participate in community events and initiatives with partner protocols, chains and wallets overtime.

Rewards: We're keeping track of LBTC usage ahead of future rewards. Lombard Points are earned for BTC deposits and interactions within the Lombard ecosystem. Early participation in Lombard is encouraged and full details of the Lombard Points program will be shared separately in the month of June.
